CMCE provided the structural design of the renovation and 2 story vertical extension of existing 3-story plus cellar mixed-use building converting into a 5-story plus cellar residential building. Approximate footprint is 4,500SF and 22,500SF gross floor area.

Project Structural Design: The structural elements of building consists of steel frame with light gauge joists and reinforced concrete foundation system. CMCE structural design included the required analysis of the existing foundation system to determine its capability to sustain the new vertical addition.
