CMCE provided structural design for a retaining wall and underpinning design for a proposed enlargement of usable lot area.

Project structural design: CMCE provided design for a 12ft tall reinforced concrete retaining wall anchored to bedrock. The retaining wall was installed along the rear of the property for a total length of 125 linear feet. Furthermore, CMCE provided underpinning design of the adjacent property’s foundation. The intent of the underpinning was to prevent undermining of the adjacent structure during the installation of the retaining wall and maximize usable lot area for our client’s intended use.
