CMCE provided the structural design of four-story building of 437 88th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The lot is approximately 10,200 SF. The structure is a 4-story plus cellar commercial and office space building, the gross floor area is approximately 46,400 SF. The structural renovation included the preservation of exterior masonry walls, as well as designing a new structural steel moment frame as the main structural system. Moreover, CMCE provided structural design for extensive underpinning, reinforced concrete footings, reinforced concrete slabs, and a CMU elevator shaft.
